Last night was a blast at the Evolution Of Fashion Show in NJ. My assistant for the day was my little sis Chanel, best assistant I've had so far. Also Shavonne came and modeled in the show!!! And looked fab. Of course the boyfriend attended the show and represented for B.Turner Designs, screaming and clapping the whole time. The day was long but after fittings for hrs and hair and makeup we finally got the girls dressed to hit the runway. The venue was Chris Michael's restaurant in Woodbridge NJ. The décor was upscale and classy with a dress code. The runway was small but it created an intimate atmosphere for the crowd. I presented my collection with a small speech that I was not prepared for and just walked up on the stage and brought my cute humor. The audience clapped for every look and the models worked it... One model tripped but its not a show without a small mishap. Afterwards I entered the venue for a small meet and greet and got to see the Bowlings from AC Fashion Week. They are such a sweet couple and extremely nice and kind people. After pretty much putting a gun to my head I agreed to do their next show called the Pink Fashion Show which is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. I was so excited cause I wanted to do it but didn't think I would be prepared but after convincing me that I was welcomed into the show and inviting my sis and shavonne to audition to model I couldn't say NO.. So look out for B.Turner Designs, Chanel, and Shavonne at the Pink Fashion Show at Rutgers University!!!!! Can't wait....
